The AUM College of Business aims to contribute to the development of business professionals with sound, and up-to-date business concepts and practices. In addition, they will have an appreciation for the strategic issues in today’s business world as well as outstanding leadership and organizational development skills. The College reflects the needs of business industries, the job market, and the market development and change.

The Business Program at AUM offers the following majors:

BS Finance

This program provides students with intensive knowledge; theoretical, practical as well as analytical and technical skills which are necessary to build a successful career in the field of Finance. Such skills and knowledge involve; financial analysis, financial projections, financial administration, internal auditing, project evaluation, cash forecasting, capital budgeting, budgetary control, and investment of surplus cash. Our program prepares the graduates for the job through internship, part-time employment, on the job field projects, and research studies.

BS Accounting

This program provides students with solid knowledge in financial and managerial accounting. Accounting involves the collection, analysis, organization, and presentation of financial information. The program will cover areas such as: credit and collections, insurance, stockholder reporting, financial administration, cost control, systems design and data processing, budgetary control, internal auditing, and statistics. Our program prepares the graduates for the job through internship, part-time employment, on the job field projects, and research studies.

BS Business Administration – Concentration MIS

This program provides students with a thorough understanding in the science of translating business needs into concrete systems requirements for IT. The course work is designed to complement graduates’ managerial skills with solid foundations in computer systems. In addition, it provides managerial perspectives on the nature and uses of computer systems. The program will include courses in different related areas such as: Work Group and Network Computing Applications, Database Management Systems, Applied Systems Analysis and Design, and Computer Communications Systems. Our program prepares the graduates for the job through internship, part-time employment, on the job field projects, and research studies.

BS Business Administration – Concentration Marketing

This program focuses on integrating technical knowledge in all areas of marketing with analytical and communication skills to prepare students for the challenges of undertaking and managing the marketing function in any organization. Our graduates will be able to understand trends in the local and global marketplace, how people live and how it all relates to identifying the right products and customers. The program will cover all elements involved in the process of transferring the products or service from an organization to the consumer. Such elements are: market research, product development, sales forecasting, packaging, advertising, distribution, pricing and sales. Our program prepares the graduates for the job through internship, part-time employment, on the job field projects, and research studies.

BS Business Administration - Concentration HRM

This program prepares students in both the theoretical and applied aspects of managing the human resources function in organizations generalists or specialists. Students will gain expertise in areas such as job design, staffing, training, compensation, and performance appraisal. Graduates will learn to link the HR functions and activities to achieve the organization’s objectives and overall targeted performance. Our program prepares the graduates for the job through internship, part-time employment, on the job field projects, and research studies.
