AUM Ends the Year With Festive Academic Activities and Projects Exhibition

fest1AUM students of all disciplines presented their projects, artwork, and multiple talents during the Academic Activities and Projects Exhibition which was held on December 29th in AUM to showcase the students’ progress and creativity throughout the semester.
Electrical & Computer Engineering Departments
AUM’s future engineers displayed impressive projects at the exhibition some of which include:
Sabah Al Ahmad Center for Creativity and Innovation Sense and Control Challenge: Three AUM teams collaborated with the center, utilizing the center’s E-Robot kit to build three innovative robots.
IEEE Presidents’ Change the World Competition: 4 teams are preparing to participate in this prestigious competition and have presented their innovative ideas.
Robotics challenge activity: The AUM robotic members showcased their latest designs for national and international competitions.
Math, Statistics & Science Departments
Students of this department displayed their remarkable academic projects in the field of Mathematics and Programming, for example, Real Life Applications of Physics Laws, Scientific Study of life throughout models and Statistical Analysis for Real Life Cases. Math students also entered a Calculus 1 and 2 timed competition.
Industrial Engineering Department
During the exhibition a number of Industrial Engineering students participated in a competition for the best graduation project. The winners were awarded 2 internship spots at KOC and Mezzan. The two winning projects were: Optimization of Hospital’s Overall Services and a case study of Evaluating and Refining Logistic Performance.EPP Activities
The EPP students amazingly displayed a variety of presentations and projects around different themes ranging from Academic, Character & Skills Development, Nutrition and Psychology.
Liberal Arts Department
Students of liberal arts added a sense of art and creativity to the exhibition with their artwork that was exhibited and highlighted by celebrating his Royal Highness Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah and his humanitarian achievements. Some of their activities included poetry competitions where students recited their poetry and music activities where students played classical pieces of music in different styles and from different countries.
Projects from College of Business
The college of business displayed numerous projects from all majors: HR & Management, Management Information Systems, Finance which was preparing the students to participate in the International Finance Case Competition and the Completion of Banking Analysis, and Accounting which was preparing a team of AUM students to participate in the prestigious CMA competition.fest2fest3ind5fest5fest6fest7fest8fest9fest11fest12
