AUM Research Themes and Directions

Our research philosophy at AUM is to address the specific needs of Kuwait, the GCC and the Middle East as a region. To ensure effectiveness, AUM is aligning the research initiatives of its faculty members with a university wide scope of research. In this respect, AUM Research Themes and Directions were developed. The themes and directions represent AUM research focal areas and serve as a pool of research topics for faculty individual and group activities, and for course projects, academic activities, and senior graduation projects. Through the AUM Research Themes and Directions, AUM is distinguishing its research identity and is selectively positioning itself in research.
The AUM Research Themes and Directions were developed through scanning of research needs and research trends with focus on Kuwait and the region with a global dimension and through cross board involvement among colleges at AUM. The outcome was accordingly ensuring addressing such trends and needs, offering a roadmap for the research function.
