AUM Team Wins the Second GE Engineering Tech Challenge

The American University of the Middle East (AUM) won the Second GE Engineering Tech Challenge held at General Electric’s Kuwait Technology Center on Sunday March 18, 2019.

Six teams from the American University of the Middle East, the American University of Kuwait, the Australian College of Kuwait and Texas A&M University at Qatar universities participated in the competition in which AUM Engineering students NaserAldeen Naser, Ahmad Qmairah, Abdulaziz AlAiban, AlBaraa Salah AlDeen AlAsaadm and Ahmad AlMetlek won the first place for the second consecutive year.

AUM Students who presented their project called “IOT University Campus Automation” commented on the importance of this participation, which helped them demonstrate and improve their skills in design engineering and technology, and come up with innovative projects that aim to develop the Kuwaiti society.

They also thanked the American University of the Middle East for offering them a specialized educational environment that nurtures students’ development and motivates them towards more achievements.
