English Preparatory Program
AUM English Preparatory Program (EPP) plays a crucial role in preparing students for undergraduate studies at AUM. AUM has an efficient, streamlined English language program responsive to the needs of our students, to the educational goals of our university, and to rigorous accreditation standards.
Designed for students who do not meet the English language requirements for admission at AUM, EPP provides intensive academic English instruction for students to improve their overall proficiency in English.
Through theme-based units, using a communicative approach to language teaching and learning, students will participate in extensive vocabulary practice, content-based grammar practice, writing in context skill development, and critical thinking skills development.
Throughout the entire EPP program, students are under the supervision and guidance of qualified instructors, having access to a tutoring lab, a writing center, and a computer lab with language learning resources.
In addition to improving students’ English language core skills, the EPP program focuses on the development of academic skills required at the undergraduate level.
